INTRODUCING DR. RHODA MOISE

Healer. Artist. Teacher. Scholar. Athlete.

A five-tool human being, Rhoda Moise, Ph.D., CYT, or as she is affectionately called Dr. Rho, is an integrative molecular epidemiologist, multi-media artist, and creative educational facilitator with Haitian roots. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she has witnessed first-hand impacts of chronic disease on her family and community group. She has also experienced personally the need for better access to healthcare, the healing power of artistic expression, and the importance of health education.

Dr. Rho’s experience and interactions with the Tookany/Tacony-Frankford watershed extends from her existence as an avid lover and student of the natural world. She is also an athlete who recently completed a triathlon in Florida, after spending a good part of the pandemic bicycle training along the trails of Tookany/Tacony Creek Parks. Additionally, she is also a certified Ancient Egyptian yoga instructor.
